Custom Hardbat Blade –
This blade is individually crafted to meet the specific requirements of a hardbat player seeking a crisp response, reliable blocking and counter-hitting performance, and improved attacking potential against slower incoming balls.
Blade Shape
- Custom rounded triangular head shape, based on the agreed reference design.
Blade Construction
Seven-layer symmetrical construction, including two BLC composite layers:
- Outer veneers: 0.6 mm natural walnut on each side
- Intermediate wood layers: 1.0 mm ayous on each side
- Composite layers: 0.2 mm BLC (basalt-linen composite) on each side
- Core: 3.5 mm kiri
Nominal total thickness: 7.1 mm
The construction combines natural walnut outer veneers with ayous intermediate layers, BLC reinforcement and a lightweight kiri core. The design aims to balance a crisp impact, control in blocking and counter-hitting, and the attacking feel required for hardbat play.
