A custom design, crafted around the player
This bespoke blade brings together three carefully selected wood species in a seven-ply, all-wood construction. Developed around the player’s individual preferences, its design combines a double-spruce outer structure on the forehand with a hinoki outer ply on the backhand, supported by a central ayous core.
The aim is to create a coherent construction in which each wood layer contributes to the overall character of the blade, without relying on carbon or other synthetic reinforcement materials.

Theoretical total thickness: 6.6 mm
Blade dimensions: 150 × 157 mm.
The double-spruce forehand structure reflects the player’s preference for spruce-based blades, while the hinoki outer layer on the backhand is inspired by the distinctive feel of hinoki in play. The ayous core provides the foundation of the construction, maintaining the original design parameters.
Custom wenge handle
The blade is fitted with a wenge flared handle (FL), inspired by the shape of the Donic Waldner WC89 handle and individually dimensioned for this project.

- Width at the top, near the thumb-rest area: 30 mm
The handle combines a pronounced lower flare with a wider thumb-rest area for enhanced comfort and a more personalized fit. Wenge’s deep brown colour and distinctive grain give the handle a striking, understated appearance.
